This inaugural fashion show is presented by the amazing teens of FRJ'S pilot program, Fashion Design and YOU!, at the Walter H. Dyett High School for the Arts. Come check them out as they show you how the pattern making and effective communication skills they learned helped them to create designs for their clients.

A Toast to Mentors - An Event Hosted by Fashion Redefining Justice and BUILD-NYC
March 30, 2017 - New York, NY - In an effort to aid in the lives of adolescent youth, two organizations, Fashion Redefining Justice (FRJ) and BUILD-NYC, have joined together for one amazing cause: to seek passionate, dedicated, and driven mentors to aid in the lives of adolescent youth! From 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the WeWork located at 311 West 43rd Street, FRJ and BUILD-NYC will host an informational, yet exciting Mentor Drive Happy Hour.
If you could see yourself adding to a young person’s life as a mentor - through using entrepreneurship to ignite their potential or the fashion industry as a tool for them to create economic opportunities - join us for this happy hour, and let us toast to you. This event will prove to be refreshing and life-altering!
